Since December 12, 2000, Waynesville Parks & Recreation has provided the most affordable and extensive network of recreational services throughout the city.

Our Recreation Facilities (Two Recreation Centers - Waynesville Recreation Center and The Armory, and five parks)   offer services such as an eight lane pool, water playground, gymnasium, weight room, cardiovascular ares, track (indoor and outdoor) and much more. 

All of our Recreation Facilities offer a wide range of programs for all ages, such as aerobics, dancing, art and art classes.

Many of our programs are free or available at a modest cost, and all are open to the general public. Each facility is equipped with a professional staff.
